The Clear Creek Amana FFA Chapter was established in 2018. The chapter is located in Tiffin Iowa just west of Iowa City/Coralville. The chapter is made up of 35 urban and rural members, ranging in age from 15 to 18 years old. There are 25 females and 10 males in our FFA Chapter. Ninety percent of the students involved in the Clear Creek Amana FFA Chapter live in town or on a non farm acreage.
In regards to SAE's most of the Clear Creek Amana FFA members have placement type SAE's were they work for a local agribusiness and record there unpaid and paid hours. Clear Creek Amana FFA encourages all students to attend at least three monthly meetings. All monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday of the Month in the Ag Room.
Clear Creek Amana FFA participates in a wide variety of Leadership Development Events and Career Development Events. Students who are part of Clear Creek Amana FFA can show livestock, horticulture, Ag Mechanics and photography at either the Johnson County Fair or the Iowa County Fair prior to entering to show at the Iowa State Fair.
